Pic 238th Circuit Foster and Adoptive Support Group

 

The Christian and Taney County Foster Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of every month alternating between Taney and Christian County.

The purpose of the support group is to:

1. To unite foster & adoptive parents in the 38th circuit (Christian & Taney counties).

2. To provide foster and adoptive services, education & training opportunities.

3. To lobby together for new legislation and/or policy changes.

4. To provide resource gathering and distribution.

5. To plan and carry out fund raisers to support the needs of the organization.

6. To recruit and help retain quality foster & adoptive parents.

7. To provide opportunities for fellowship and growth.

 

Child Care is provided at the meetings for $2 per child and you can be reimbursed for child care and mileage.

Meeting attendance counts as 2 hours of in-service training.

 

The meetings are in Taney County on even months at:

Boys & Girls Club

1460 Bee Creek Rd.

Branson, MO. 65616

 

In odd months the meetings are in Christian County at:

United Methodist Church

East Highway 14 in Ozark
